Christmas Jute Bag by HANDCRAFT, for a seasonal or festival campaign

Planning Branded Bags for Festivals, Events and Seasonal Campaigns

Before you order bags for a festival, conference or seasonal campaign, agree three things with your team: what recipients will receive, how they will carry it during the event, and when the bags must be in hand. Those answers shape the bag format, size, print and quantity far more reliably than a generic “eco bag” shortlist.

HANDCRAFT manufactures customised jute and cotton bags for organisational programmes. The path is a Bulk Enquiry, a review of your requirements and an individual quotation. There are no fixed website prices, and a form submission does not confirm stock, production allocation or a delivery date.

Branded bags for festivals and events start with the programme, not the catalogue

A bag that suits a few conference handouts is not the same brief as one carrying a welcome pack, a gift set or materials for multi-day distribution. Write down:

  • Who receives the bag (delegates, visitors, employees, clients, devotees or campaign participants)
  • What will go inside — your organisation’s selected materials or already-packaged gifts
  • Where and how the bag will be used on the day (registration desk, exhibition floor, outdoor venue, office welcome)
  • Whether the bag is meant for one event or for continued use afterwards

HANDCRAFT supplies the bags. Brochures, books, gifts and packed items remain your contents unless a separate arrangement is agreed. Fit those contents to the bag internally before you fix a size.

Choose a format that matches contents and handling

For many corporate events, buyers compare a few practical families:

  • Jute conference bags — structured carry for selected documents and materials when delegates need a professional presentation
  • Tesco jute bags — HANDCRAFT’s box-style, side-gusset bag format with useful volume for branded programmes (the name describes the style; it is not a retail affiliation)
  • Promotional jute bags — straightforward totes for high-visibility distribution
  • Jute gift bags — when presentation of a packaged gift matters as much as carrying capacity
  • Cotton tote bags — when a lighter fabric appearance suits the programme

Do not select a format only because it looks attractive in a photograph. Check gussets, handle length, openings and any closure against the actual items you will pack. If a feature is essential — a zip, a pocket, a firmer base — name it in the enquiry so it can be confirmed against the product.

Plan artwork for how people will see the bag

Festival and event bags are often viewed at arm’s length in busy spaces. A larger logo, clear contrast and limited copy usually communicate better than dense text. Agree:

  • Which sides will be printed and whether both sides share one design
  • The colours in the artwork against the bag colour (natural-colour fabric is undyed jute or cotton)
  • Where seams, pockets or windows sit relative to the print area

HANDCRAFT uses azo-free printing inks. Screen printing is used in customised bag work; the suitable method and its scope are confirmed for each requirement. Fine lines and small lettering can break up on a textured jute weave — review artwork against the fabric rather than assuming a desktop proof will look the same on the bag. See also the site’s artwork guidelines.

Quantity, timing and what a quotation needs

Quantity should follow the distribution plan: confirmed recipients, spare stock for late registrations, and any multi-venue needs. Prefer a clear programme number over an arbitrary round figure. Repeat and multi-event programmes can be planned together, and every order is quoted individually.

Usual delivery guidance is 2–4 weeks, depending on quantity and printing. Dyeing, where required, adds two weeks and extra charges. Handmade categories take longer and need an agreed schedule. Rush orders can be assessed against the actual required arrival date — they are not an automatic deadline.

Sampling is decided case by case. In some enquiries an approval photograph is enough; in others a physical sample may be discussed. Confirm any sample or freight charges separately.

For an individual quotation, share intended use, proposed quantity, required size, printing requirements, destination and the date the bags must arrive. Common questions are answered in the FAQ; production planning notes are on production and delivery.

Checklist before you submit a Bulk Enquiry

  1. Contents list and packing method agreed
  2. Format shortlist linked to those contents
  3. Artwork files ready for review on the chosen fabric
  4. Quantity and spare allowance documented
  5. Required arrival date stated (not only a hoped-for production finish)
  6. Any essential features named (handles, closure, lining, window)

Working back from the event date

Seasonal programmes have fixed dates, so build the plan backwards: the date bags must be at the venue or warehouse, minus your packing and dispatch time, minus transport, minus production, minus artwork approval. Festival periods are busy across many industries, so send the enquiry early and keep approvals moving.

Planning for leftover stock

If the design carries the event year, leftover bags are hard to use later. A permanent design lets extra stock serve staff, partners or next season’s programme. See Jute Bag Branding That Lasts Across Repeat Events. HANDCRAFT supplies the bags only; filling and distribution stay with your team.

Questions buyers ask

Should the festival year go on the bag?

Only if the bags will all be used at that event. A year or edition number makes spare stock hard to reuse; a permanent mark with the date on a separate insert keeps leftovers useful. See branding that lasts across repeat events.

Can one design cover several seasonal events?

Often, yes. If the programme repeats, agree a core design and list each event and its quantity in one enquiry so the quotation reflects the combined requirement.

Planning a festival, exhibition or seasonal campaign? Send the event date, the date the bags must reach your venue or warehouse, the contents, quantity and artwork through the Bulk Enquiry route, and HANDCRAFT will review the brief and come back with an individual quotation.
