Hello Jute

When we talk about being trendy it doesn’t only mean wearing nice clothes. It also means that whatever you are doing is in tune with nature. You go out to a mall or market shopping and bring stuff in a plastic bag. This means although you are looking good from outside but
inside you haven’t understood your responsibility towards nature and planet Earth. We need to understand that by using plastic/polythene bags we are creating pollution and causing trouble for us and our fellow humans also.

Plastic bags or polythene bags as they are popularly known as are made from crude oil and natural gas and both of them are non – renewable sources of energy. Which means they produce nothing but pollution. Their degeneration usually takes about thousand years and
between those years they only cause damage to our nature. Plastic does not even burn completely unlike other waste materials, they take thousands of years to get destroyed completely thus they mostly end up in landfills , oceans and seas . Sometimes they can also be found in the stomach of dead animals who wash up at the sea shore. They even strangle animals who try to eat them from the garbage bins or landfills. They block our drainage system which often result in water overflow during the monsoons, they make the soil infertile and pollutes our air and water. The toxic smoke that they emit after burning kill thousands every year. People living near plastic factory are mostly detected with cancer. While on the other hand if we choose Jute Bags for our day to day needs and work we are contributing immensely towards our nature by protecting it. Jute bags are made from natural fibre so they do not create pollution, they are bio degradable and eco friendly. So by giving place to a good looking jute bag in our life we are making place for nature’s beauty in
our lives.
